Pam was elected to the Governing Board in 2010.  A native of Dallas, she moved to Arizona 17 years ago and has called Paradise Valley, within the SUSD boundary, her home for the last ten years. She has three daughters who have attended SUSD public schools.  Pam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.  Pam worked for Arthur Andersen LLP, Marriott Corporation, and most recently, Frito-Lay until she left the workforce in 2006 to spend more time with her family and in her community.  Since then, Pam has held many parent leadership positions in SUSD, serving on Site Councils, PTOs, the Time Task Force and the Superintendent’s Blue Ribbon Advisory Council.  She also served as the event co-chair for the 2010 Paradise Valley Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) and was recently re-elected to the Paradise Valley Town Council.

Mr. George Jackson

George was elected to the Governing Board in 2012. A native of Tucson, he moved to the Valley twenty-five years ago and has lived in the SUSD boundaries for 12 years. He and his wife Laurie have two children currently attending SUSD public schools. George holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He is a Financial Advisor with a major investment firm and has over twenty years experience.  George is actively involved in our community. He is a past President of the Executive Council for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix and a past Trustee for the Foundation for the Boys and Girls Clubs. He is also a member of the Scottsdale Charros and chaired the Charro Education Committee. He served for several years on the SUSD Superintendant’s Blue Ribbon Advisory Council and George is very involved with his children and coaches youth soccer, little league baseball and is an adult leader in Boys Scouts.

Mrs. Bonnie Sneed

Bonnie was elected to the Governing Board in 2008. She and her husband Gary have three children and two grandchildren. They moved to Scottsdale in 1998 from Northeast Ohio, where Bonnie worked as a technology coordinator in elementary and middle schools. She has served as an executive director for the Arizona Alliance for Arts Education and has volunteered extensively in Scottsdale schools over the last 10 years on school site councils at the elementary, middle and high school levels and with parent groups for all of her children’s schools. Bonnie was president and co-president of the Arts in Education Council for Scottsdale schools for three years, on the Executive Committee of the Scottsdale Parent Council for four years, on the Steering and Executive Committees of the International Baccalaureate Parents Organization, and a member of the Superintendent’s Blue Ribbon Advisory Council for three years. She and her husband are founding members of the Scottsdale Unified School District Foundation. She has also been an active Band Booster and has served on several District-wide committees, task forces and curriculum materials adoption committees. She is a graduate of Scottsdale Leadership, Class XXII, and received her degree from Arizona State University and Barrett Honors College.
