Common Core Standards Abbreviations Defined
The SUSD curriculum maps provide students, parents and teachers with a year-long guide of objectives for student learning. Teachers use the curriculum map for planning and developing classroom learning experiences based on “best practices”, instructional strategies and assessments to promote teaching for learning.

Harcourt Social Studies takes students on a journey through
time and place. It's packed with reading support tools, such as charts, graphs, and timelines, that help students better grasp the concepts. Glencoe's Journey Across Time is a middle school world history program organized chronologically from the first humans and ancient civilizations to the present. |
